Following a very successful competitive swimming career at the University of Florida and as a member of the United States National Swim Team, Megan Melgaard is currently a professional extreme athlete, specializing in open water swimming, pool swimming, on and off road triathlon, and adventure racing.
For over 15 years, Megan has successfully trained amateur, world-class and professional athletes to become stronger and faster in their respective disciplines. She has trained professionals in multiple sports, including Triathlon, Football, Boxing, and Swimming.
Megan is a world-class pool swimmer who successfully transitioned to a triathlon career where she was undefeated in the open water. Her freestyle swimming technique is often referred to as the best in the world with a streamlined artistry that is second to none. Megan’s effervescent personality and unparalleled kinesthetic awareness in the water helps enable athletes of all levels – from newcomers to Olympians – improve their speed, balance and swimming technique in the water to levels that were previously thought unattainable.

Lessons from the beginner to advanced level. Focusing on technique, strength, and efficiency in the water, our instructor is dedicated to your improvement and will demonstrate a step by step progression of drills and exercises that will lead you to correct swimming form. Working with you both in and out of the water, Megan will help correct each phase of the stroke where necessary for optimal efficiency and performance.
